the minds behind the innovation

1. A European Company Born from Scientific Vision

FutureOn Srl is an Italian company dedicated to the research, development and future industrialization of clean energy technologies based on Low Energy Nuclear Reactions (LENR), also recently referred to as Low Energy Anomalous Phenomena (LEAP).

It was founded by a team of scientists, engineers, and entrepreneurs united by a shared vision: to transform decades of experimental physics into a new paradigm for sustainable energy. The Company can be traced back to a network of researchers that, over the last two decades, have advanced the study of hydrogen–metal interactions and their extraordinary energetic potential.

This scientific heritage, cultivated through collaboration and perseverance, has evolved into a structured corporate mission, to translate discovery into reliable, deployable energy systems that serve both humanity and the planet.

2. Leadership Rooted in Experience and Integrity

The Company’s leadership combines decades of experience across condensed matter physics, materials science, and energy system engineering — guiding the team toward groundbreaking innovation in clean energy.

Under the strategic direction of co-founder and CEO Guido Parchi (Environmental Engineer), FutureOn aligns its scientific and commercial objectives within a coherent vision for global deployment. Co-founder and Technical Director Ugo Abundo (Chemical Engineer) and Chief Scientific Advisor Giorgio Vassallo (PhD in Physics – Former professor of Physics and Informatics at the University of Palermo) lead the research programs that bridge theoretical innovation and experimental validation, ensuring that every technical decision is grounded in evidence and precision.

Together, this leadership embodies FutureOn’s core values: intellectual integrity, pragmatic innovation, and long-term commitment to the public good. Their combined expertise transforms scientific insight into structured industrial advancement — an essential bridge between discovery and market readiness.

partnerships & recognition

1. A Structure Designed for Integration and Responsibility

The organizational model in which FutureOn operates reflects a deliberate synthesis of scientific excellence, commercial focus, and ethical responsibility. The Company operates as the R&D and intellectual property core within a broader alliance that ensures balanced development from the laboratory to the market:

This tripartite framework creates a self-consistent ecosystem where research, industry, and social responsibility evolve in parallel — ensuring that FutureOn’s technology is not only advanced but accountable.

2. European Recognition through Horizon 2020 CleanHME

FutureOn’s technological and scientific development gained international recognition through its participation in the Horizon 2020 CleanHME Project, a European consortium of seventeen research partners funded by the European Commission. The project’s objective was to explore Hydrogen–Metal interactions for enhanced Energy-conversion efficiency — an area now considered one of the most promising frontiers in clean energy innovation.

Within this program, FutureOn played a pivotal role, contributing to the design of experimental prototypes and active materials, data analysis, and validation protocols. The company’s Catalysed Plasma Reactor (CPR) and Synergistic Fusion Plasma Converter (SFPC) emerged as notable outcomes of the consortium, combining scientific innovation with industrial applicability.

3. Recognition by the European Innovation Radar

The European Commission formally acknowledged FutureOn’s results through its Innovation Radar initiative, which identifies and promotes high-potential technologies emerging from EU-funded research.

Two of FutureOn’s LENR-based systems were identified among Europe’s “Key Emerging Innovations” in the field of sustainable energy, a designation reserved for technologies with remarkable industrial and societal potential. This recognition reinforced the Company’s credibility as an international frontrunner in transforming LENR science into viable, market-ready solutions.

4. Institutional Standing and Global Recognition

Through its scientific, industrial, and intellectual achievements, FutureOn has earned a distinct position within the clean-energy landscape. The company is recognized as part of a select group capable of bridging the divide between frontier research and practical deployment. Its participation in European research programs, combined with upcoming independent industrial testing, ensures that FutureOn’s innovations are both scientifically credible and economically relevant.

FutureOn has contributed to fundamental LENR research through its role in the EU CleanHME project.

Ethics and Purpose in Innovation

At the core of FutureOn’s identity lies an ethical commitment: that innovation must serve humanity as much as it serves progress. The Company believes that technological breakthroughs acquire their true meaning only when guided by responsibility toward society and the environment.

Through one of its shareholders, the Unifying Fields Foundation, FutureOn promotes educational outreach, ethical reflection, ecosystems restoration initiatives and public understanding of sustainable science. This integration of ethics with innovation defines the company’s culture — a culture where science is not a means of power, but a tool for harmony.
